  1. Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in basestocks, synthetics, and intermediates production processes.
  2. Develop and implement new technologies to enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of production processes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to production processes and equipment.
  5. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  6. Contribute to the development of technical standards, procedures, and guidelines for basestocks, synthetics, and intermediates production.
  7. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on new technologies and processes.
  8. Monitor production metrics and provide regular updates to management on progress and performance.
  9. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to evaluate and implement new technologies and equipment.
  10. Continuously evaluate and optimize production processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  11. Stay current with advancements in technology and industry best practices, and make recommendations for their implementation within the company.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical support to other departments within the company.
  13. Participate in and present at conferences, seminars, and other industry events to share knowledge and represent the company's technological advancements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Chemical Engineering Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In The Petroleum Industry, Specifically In Basestocks, Synthetics, And Intermediates Technology.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Refinery Processes, Including Hydroprocessing, Distillation, And Catalytic Cracking.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Basestocks, Synthetics, And Intermediates Production.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Technical Issues In A Fast-Paced Environment.
