  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive security governance and trust program for Expedia Group, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Lead and manage a team of security professionals responsible for implementing and maintaining security controls and processes.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats and implement appropriate measures to mitigate them.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls, regularly reporting to senior management on the status of security governance and trust efforts.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and legal, to ensure alignment and integration of security policies and procedures.
  6. Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and recommend necessary changes to the security program.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and promote a positive reputation for Expedia Group.
  8. Communicate and educate employees on security policies, procedures, and best practices to promote a security-conscious culture.
  9. Lead incident response and management efforts, working closely with relevant teams to identify, contain, and resolve security incidents.
  10. Continuously improve and evolve the security governance and trust program to keep pace with the changing threat landscape and business needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Security Governance And Trust Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Large And Complex Organization. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Security Governance Frameworks, Risk Management, And Compliance Requirements.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Global Security Regulations And Standards: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Global Security Regulations And Standards Such As Iso 27001, Gdpr, And Pci Dss. They Should Be Able To Apply These Standards To Develop And Maintain Security Policies And Procedures That Align With Industry Best Practices.

  • Proven Track Record Of Leading A Team: As A Senior Manager, This Role Will Involve Leading A Team Of Security Professionals. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing And Developing A Team, With Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Mentor And Coach Team Members.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: This Role Will Involve Working Closely With Various Stakeholders Across The Organization, Including Senior Leaders And External Partners. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, And The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Stakeholders At All Levels.

  • Technical Expertise In Security Systems And Tools: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Understanding Of Security Systems And Tools, Such As Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, And Vulnerability Scanning Tools. They Should Also Have Experience In Implementing And Managing Security Technologies To Protect The Organization's Assets.
