- Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic insights for the APAC business units to drive financial performance.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide financial recommendations.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
- Develop and implement financial forecasting and budgeting processes for the APAC region.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify and recommend cost-saving initiatives and revenue growth opportunities.
- Provide support and guidance to junior analysts in the team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform financial decisions.
- Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency and alignment across regions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
- Represent the company at conferences and industry events to promote our brand and network with potential partners.
Strong Financial Acumen: A Senior Commercial Finance Analyst At Expedia Group Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Financial Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, And Financial Modeling. They Should Be Able To Interpret Financial Data And Provide Strategic Insights To Support Decision-Making.
Extensive Experience In Commercial Finance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Commercial Finance Role, Preferably In The Apac Region. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Driving Business Growth And Profitability Through Financial Analysis And Strategic Planning.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, The Candidate Will Be Required To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Sales, Marketing, And Operations. Therefore, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential To Effectively Present Financial Insights And Influence Decision-Making.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment: Expedia Group Operates In A Highly Competitive And Fast-Paced Industry. The Candidate Should Be Able To Thrive In A Dynamic Environment, Adapt Quickly To Changing Priorities, And Deliver High-Quality Work Under Tight Deadlines.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance Or Related Field: A Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field Is A Minimum Requirement For This Role. A Master's Degree In Finance Or An Mba Would Be Preferred. Additionally, Professional Certifications Such As Cfa Or Cpa Would Be Considered A Plus.
