  1. Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of Expedia Group's systems and applications.
  2. Identify and report security flaws and vulnerabilities, and work with the development team to implement necessary fixes.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest hacking and cybersecurity trends, techniques, and tools in order to continuously improve the security posture of Expedia Group.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security protocols and procedures.
  5. Conduct research and analysis to understand potential threats and risks to Expedia Group's systems and make recommendations on mitigation strategies.
  6. Act as a subject matter expert on ethical hacking and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
  7. Participate in incident response and provide technical expertise in the event of a security breach.
  8. Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing security measures and make recommendations for improvements.
  9. Document and maintain detailed reports of all security testing activities and findings.
  10. Communicate with stakeholders and management to provide updates on the security status of Expedia Group's systems and any potential risks or vulnerabilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Network Security Protocols And Tools: A Successful Penetration Tester/Ethical Hacker At Expedia Group Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Network Security Protocols Such As Tcp/Ip, Http, And Dns, As Well As Proficiency In Using Various Security Tools Such As Nmap, Metasploit, And Wireshark.

  • Experience In Conducting Vulnerability Assessments And Penetration Testing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Conducting Vulnerability Assessments And Penetration Testing On Different Types Of Systems And Networks. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Attack Vectors And Techniques Such As Sql Injection, Cross-Site Scripting, And Social Engineering.

  • Familiarity With Industry Compliance Standards: Expedia Group Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, And As Such, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Industry Compliance Standards Such As Pci Dss, Iso 27001, And Hipaa. This Includes Knowledge Of Security Controls And Best Practices For Maintaining Compliance.

  • Strong Programming And Scripting Skills: A Successful Penetration Tester/Ethical Hacker At Expedia Group Should Have A Strong Foundation In Programming And Scripting Languages Such As Python, Ruby, And Bash. This Allows Them To Develop Custom Tools And Scripts For Vulnerability Assessment And Exploitation.

  • Excellent Communication And Report Writing Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders Is Crucial For A Penetration Tester/Ethical Hacker. They Should Have Experience In Writing Detailed And Comprehensive Reports That Clearly Outline Vulnerabilities, Risks, And Recommendations For Remediation.
