- Acquire new hotel partners in the Italian market to expand our hotel inventory and increase revenue for the company.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential hotel partners through effective communication, presentations, and negotiation.
- Conduct market research to identify potential hotel partners and understand market trends and competition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and initiatives to drive partner growth and achieve business goals.
- Ensure all new hotel partners meet the company's quality standards and requirements.
- Continuously monitor partner performance and identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to represent Expedia Group and build relationships with potential partners.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes to identify potential business opportunities.
- Provide timely and accurate reports and updates on partner acquisition progress and performance.
- Work closely with the Partner Services team to onboard new partners and ensure a smooth transition to the platform.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Expedia Group and promote our mission and values to potential partners.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and initiatives for new hotel partners.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions with partners.
- Continuously strive to exceed acquisition targets and contribute to the overall success of the Partner Growth and Agility team.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Fluency In Italian: A Key Qualification For This Role Is Fluency In Italian, As The Business Development Associate Will Be Responsible For Driving Growth And Building Relationships With New Hotel Partners In Italy. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Negotiate Contracts In Italian.
Previous Business Development Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Business Development, Preferably In The Hospitality Or Travel Industry. This Experience Should Include A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Driving Partner Growth And Generating New Business.
Agility And Adaptability: As A Business Development Associate, The Candidate Will Need To Be Able To Quickly Adapt To Changing Market Conditions And Identify New Opportunities For Growth. This Requires A High Level Of Agility And The Ability To Think Outside The Box.
