Exeter Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surgical Support Aide to join our team. We are looking for a team player who has a passion for helping others and providing quality patient care. The successful candidate should have experience in a health care setting and a strong knowledge of surgical practices and procedures.The Surgical Support Aide will be responsible for providing assistance to surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare staff before, during, and after surgical procedures. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. Responsibilities of a Surgical Support Aide:

  1. Provide assistance to surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare staff before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  2. Ensure all necessary materials and supplies are available before surgery.
  3. Assist with patient preparation for surgery.
  4. Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety during surgery.
  5. Ensure surgical instruments are properly sterilized and maintained.
  6. Provide assistance to surgical team during surgery.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Follow safety regulations and protocols.
  9. Report any irregularities to the lead surgical staff.
  10. Follow all HIPAA regulations and handle confidential information with discretion.
