Job Description

At Exeter Hospital, we are seeking a passionate and highly qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a leading healthcare facility and make a positive impact on patients' lives. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory therapy to patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must have a minimum of an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy and be certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). In addition, the successful candidate should have at least one year of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting and must demonstrate knowledge of all respiratory care techniques and modalities. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide respiratory therapy to patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
  2. Maintain certification with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of all respiratory care techniques and modalities.
  4. Maintain a working knowledge of all applicable hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care to patients.
  6. Ensure patient safety and comfort by monitoring vital signs, administering oxygen, and providing basic patient care.
  7. Maintain accurate records and charting of patient care.
  8. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
