
Clinical Patient Safety Manager
Exeter Hospital is looking for an experienced and dedicated Clinical Patient Safety Manager to join our team. This individual must have the ability to coordinate and direct patient safety initiatives, analyze data to identify potential risks, and develop and maintain patient safety policies and procedures. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field, as well as a minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare setting in a patient safety or quality role. The Clinical Patient Safety Manager must also demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage potential risk areas.The successful candidate will be an important part of the culture and team at Exeter Hospital, and will play a vital role in our patient safety initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct patient safety initiatives in accordance with established standards.
- Analyze data to identify potential risks and develop strategies to address them.
- Develop, implement, and maintain patient safety policies and procedures.
- Lead patient safety training sessions and workshops for healthcare staff.
- Monitor and evaluate patient safety performance and recommend areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with patient safety regulations.
- Investigate incidents and develop reports to identify root causes and preventative solutions.
- Lead teams and develop strategies to improve patient safety.
- Monitor and evaluate patient safety performance metrics and develop improvement plans.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to hospital administration.
Leadership
• Bachelor's Degree In Health Care Administration Or Related Field
• At Least Years Of Experience In A Health Care Setting
• Previous Experience In A Management Role
