Cath Lab Technician

Exeter Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technician to join our talented team. We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for providing patient care and assisting the cardiologist in various catheterization lab procedures. To be successful in this role, you should have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a closely related field. You should also have a certification in Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CVIR) and two years of experience working in a cath lab. Additionally, successful applicants must demonstrate excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the catheterization lab
• Assist the cardiologist with various catheterization lab procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures
• Follow hospital policies and procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies
• Educate patients and family members and answer questions about procedures
• Document patient care and procedure details in medical records
