Behavioral Health Counselor

Exeter Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team. We are looking for an individual who has the knowledge and skill set to provide excellent care to our Patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual, family, and group counseling services, as well as developing and implementing treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field, and be licensed and/or certified to practice in the state of Rhode Island.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing quality mental health care and creating positive outcomes for our Patients. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement effective treatment plans for Patients.
2. Provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
3. Maintain a patient-focused approach and excellent communication skills with Patients.
4. Knowledge of relevant state laws and regulations and maintain licensure and/or certification in the state of Rhode Island.
5. Utilize evidenced-based practices to promote positive outcomes for Patients.
6. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of Patients' progress and treatments.
8. Educate Patients on mental health strategies and help them develop coping skills.
