Job Description

At Exelon, we seek Nuclear Engineers with the skills and experience to help us provide clean, safe, reliable, and affordable energy to our customers. We are looking for a passionate individual with a commitment to excellence and a desire to join a team of hard-working professionals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry. An in-depth understanding of nuclear engineering principles, processes, and regulations is essential. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and develop solutions for nuclear engineering problems while adhering to industry regulations.
  2. Conduct research into new technologies and processes related to nuclear engineering.
  3. Design and implement training programs for personnel in the nuclear power industry.
  4. Monitor and evaluate operations, systems, and equipment to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
  5. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  6. Collaborate with other engineering teams to develop and implement strategies for efficient energy production.
  7. Monitor and maintain operational records and technical documents.
  8. Provide technical support and advice to other departments.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
