Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Nuclear Engineer to join our team at Exelon! This role entails providing technical expertise and support to ensure safe, efficient and reliable nuclear plant operation. The successful candidate should have an understanding of nuclear engineering principles and plant operations, a commitment to safety and quality, and a passion for customer service. To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or related field. You must also have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the nuclear energy field or a related technical field. Possession of a Professional Engineering license is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to ensure safe, efficient and reliable nuclear plant operation.
  2. Monitor and maintain nuclear plant systems and components to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  3. Work closely with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot plant problems.
  4. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  5. Prepare reports and document nuclear plant operations.
  6. Develop and provide training for plant personnel on nuclear engineering principles and operations.
  7. Perform safety assessments and inspections of nuclear plant systems and components.
  8. Provide technical expertise and guidance to other nuclear engineering staff.
  9. Monitor plant performance and recommend operational improvements.
  10. Stay up to date with industry changes and advancements.
