The successful candidate will be a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented professional who has extensive knowledge in the field of nuclear engineering.The Nuclear Engineer will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and maintaining the safe operation of Exelon's nuclear facilities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, a minimum of five years of relevant experience, and a thorough understanding of the principles of nuclear engineering. Additionally, they should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment. The successful candidate should also be able to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain safe operating procedures for Exelon’s nuclear facilities.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify areas of improvement for the facility.
- Oversee and coordinate the training and development of personnel working in the nuclear facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local nuclear regulations.
- Collaborate with other engineers to develop innovative solutions for the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation of the facility’s operations.
- Monitor and assess the performance of the facility’s equipment and systems.
- Investigate and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
- Make sound decisions in high-pressure situations while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide technical support to other engineers and personnel.
Ability To Develop And Maintain Strong Working Relationships With Stakeholders
Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Engineering Or Related Field
