Nuclear Engineer

You will collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and develop solutions to improve the performance and safety of our nuclear plants.We are looking for a Nuclear Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, and at least 5 years of experience in nuclear engineering or a related field. You must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of nuclear engineering principles. You must also have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and standards is a must. Responsibilities:

1. Provide engineering and technical support to Exelon’s nuclear power plants to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
2. Analyze, design, and develop solutions to improve the performance and safety of nuclear plants.
3. Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions.
4. Monitor and maintain nuclear plant operations and/or maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
5. Stay up-to-date on nuclear safety regulations and standards.
6. Prepare reports and documents related to nuclear engineering projects.
7. Research and evaluate new technologies and processes related to nuclear engineering.
8. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all work related to nuclear engineering.
9. Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
10. Provide technical advice and guidance to other departments as needed.
