You will collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and develop solutions to improve the performance and safety of our nuclear plants.We are looking for a Nuclear Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, and at least 5 years of experience in nuclear engineering or a related field. You must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of nuclear engineering principles. You must also have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and standards is a must. Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering and technical support to Exelon’s nuclear power plants to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Analyze, design, and develop solutions to improve the performance and safety of nuclear plants.
- Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions.
- Monitor and maintain nuclear plant operations and/or maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date on nuclear safety regulations and standards.
- Prepare reports and documents related to nuclear engineering projects.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and processes related to nuclear engineering.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all work related to nuclear engineering.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to other departments as needed.
