Job Description

At Exelon, we are looking for a talented and highly motivated Nuclear Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining nuclear power plants to optimize safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nuclear engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to think outside the box. We are searching for a professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related field, at least five years of experience in nuclear engineering, and an in-depth understanding of nuclear regulations and standards. Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop nuclear power plants to ensure optimal safety and efficiency.
  2. Analyze and interpret data collected from nuclear plants to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Monitor and inspect nuclear facilities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  4. Maintain and update records related to nuclear engineering activities.
  5. Develop and implement strategies for improving the performance of nuclear plants.
  6. Develop plans for emergency response and safety protocols in the event of a nuclear incident.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that nuclear engineering activities are in line with organizational goals.
  8. Research and evaluate new technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
  9. Prepare reports on nuclear engineering activities and findings.
  10. Provide technical advice and guidance on nuclear engineering projects.
