Job Description

Nuclear Engineer – ExelonAre you a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Engineer looking to join a top industry leader? Exelon is looking for a talented individual to join its team as a Nuclear Engineer. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving the safety and reliability of the company’s nuclear power plants.To be successful in this role, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering (or a related field) and at least 3+ years of experience in the Nuclear Engineering field. You should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. An in-depth knowledge of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations and applicable codes and standards is a must. Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and improve the safety and reliability of Exelon's nuclear power plants.
  2. Ensure compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations and applicable codes and standards.
  3. Develop and implement processes for monitoring and reporting safety and reliability issues.
  4. Analyze plant performance data and develop strategies to optimize operations.
  5. Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  7. Investigate and resolve safety and operational issues.
  8. Provide support and guidance to plant personnel.
  9. Ensure compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations.
  10. Participate in audits and inspections.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Engineering

  • Master's Degree In Nuclear Engineering (Preferred)

  • Experience In Nuclear Power Plant Operations

  • Experience In Plant Operations Simulation

  • Knowledge Of Nrc Regulations

  • Knowledge Of Ansi/Ans Standards

  • And Familiarity With Quality Assurance Processes
