Mechanical Technician

Exelon is looking for a dynamic Mechanical Technician to join our team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain the most efficient operation of mechanical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment, in addition to a strong background in safety procedures. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and inspect all mechanical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
2. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs.
3. Develop and implement preventative maintenance and safety protocols.
4. Monitor and adjust system parameters to ensure optimal performance.
5. Maintain accurate records of mechanical maintenance activities.
6. Respond to emergency mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner.
7. Ensure that all mechanical systems are compliant with applicable regulations.
8. Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
9. Test and calibrate mechanical systems for optimal performance.
10. Provide technical guidance and training to other team members.
