Mechanical Technician

Exelon is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team and help maintain the safe and reliable operation of our power plant. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the mechanical maintenance of a power plant, and a commitment to excellence and safety. Responsibilities:

1. Performing mechanical maintenance tasks on the power plant, including checking and repairing systems and equipment.
2. Ensuring operations comply with safety regulations and standards.
3. Monitoring power plant performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
4. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
5. Working collaboratively with other technicians and plant personnel to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and best practices.
7. Developing and executing preventive maintenance plans.
8. Ordering parts and supplies as needed.
9. Updating and maintaining records of all equipment and parts.
10. Identifying and resolving technical problems in a timely manner.
