Job Description

Exelon is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of HR support services, including employee relations, onboarding, recruitment, and training and development. The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have a customer-service focus.The Human Resources Generalist must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, as well as at least three years of prior experience in an HR role. A combination of education and experience may be considered. The successful candidate must also have a solid understanding of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.If you are an individual who is committed to excellence and continuous improvement, has a passion for HR, and is looking for an opportunity to make an impact, this may be the role for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide HR support services, including employee relations, onboarding, recruitment, and training and development.
  2. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  3. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Provide guidance and advice to managers and staff on HR related matters.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information.
  6. Manage performance improvement activities.
  7. Coordinate and facilitate employee development programs and activities.
  8. Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing.
  9. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  10. Assist with employee relations issues, such as leave of absence requests and grievances.
