Job Description

At Exelon, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Environmental Specialist to join our team. The Environmental Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental regulations, policies, and programs to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental regulations, a commitment to environmental stewardship, and an ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders. The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 3 years of experience working in an environmental program. Additionally, the Environmental Specialist must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and manage environmental regulations, policies, and programs to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local environmental regulations.
  2. Work with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure environmental compliance.
  3. Provide environmental expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Monitor environmental trends and stay up-to-date on relevant regulations.
  5. Track, analyze, and report on environmental data.
  6. Develop and implement environmental training materials and programs.
  7. Draft and review environmental documents and reports.
  8. Provide guidance on environmental compliance issues.
  9. Coordinate and conduct environmental audits.
  10. Create and implement strategies to reduce environmental impacts.
