Job Description

At Exelon, we are searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Specialist who can join our team and help play an integral role in our environmental initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting environmental assessments, and providing guidance on environmental issues. If you have a passion for the environment, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to handle the complexities of environmental regulations, we want to hear from you!Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field• At least 5 years of experience in environmental compliance and/or environmental consulting• Knowledge of environmental regulations• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentWe’re excited to find the right candidate to join our team and help us meet our environmental goals. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  2. Conduct environmental assessments of potential sites.
  3. Provide guidance and advice on environmental issues and initiatives.
  4. Keep up to date with changes in environmental regulations and standards.
  5. Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures.
  6. Investigate and analyze environmental incidents and violations.
  7. Prepare and submit environmental reports.
  8. Maintain environmental records.
  9. Respond to public inquiries related to environmental issues.
  10. Identify and recommend solutions for environmental problems.
