In addition, we require a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering or a related field. An excellent working knowledge of environmental regulations, policies, and procedures is a must.The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities of an Environmental Engineer at Exelon:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce environmental impacts and ensure sustainability.
- Monitor environmental data and develop reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare environmental permitting and compliance documents.
- Analyze data and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and coordinate environmental training programs.
- Conduct research and reviews of new environmental regulations.
- Address environmental issues and coordinate corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure environmental compliance.
