Job Description

Exelon is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in environmental regulations, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have a commitment to sustainability.This role requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. In addition, we require a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering or a related field. An excellent working knowledge of environmental regulations, policies, and procedures is a must.The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A commitment to sustainability, a strong sense of ethics, and the ability to think strategically are also essential. The Environmental Engineer will bring a passion for environmental protection and a dedication to the highest standards of safety and performance.

Responsibilities of an Environmental Engineer at Exelon:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce environmental impacts and ensure sustainability.
  • Monitor environmental data and develop reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare environmental permitting and compliance documents.
  • Analyze data and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and coordinate environmental training programs.
  • Conduct research and reviews of new environmental regulations.
  • Address environmental issues and coordinate corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure environmental compliance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on environmental matters.
