Job Description

Are you an experienced energy trader looking to join a nationally recognized team of experts? Exelon is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Energy Trader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the physical and financial trading of energy products in the wholesale energy market. We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of energy markets, risk management, and market fundamentals. This individual must have the ability to work independently while also collaborating with other groups within the organization. If you are ready to take the next step in your career and join a dynamic and innovative team, we want to hear from you!Required qualifications:-Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field-Minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy trading industry-Strong knowledge of energy markets, risk management, and market fundamentals-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively-Demonstrated success in developing and executing trading strategies

Responsibilities: -Develop and execute trading strategies to maximize profits -Monitor the physical and financial trading of energy products in the wholesale energy market -Analyze and interpret market data to identify emerging trends and opportunities -Manage risk associated with energy trading activities -Negotiate and execute deals with counterparties -Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and clients -Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure efficient and effective operations -Stay abreast of energy market developments and related regulations
