Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Energy Trader to join Exelon’s team. This is an amazing opportunity to join one of the world’s leading energy companies and contribute to the success of our energy trading operations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of energy markets and the ability to apply that knowledge to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities.To be successful in this position, you must have a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, as well as at least 5 years of experience in energy trading. Knowledge of energy markets, hedging strategies, commodities trading, and financial analysis are all essential. You must be highly organized, have excellent communication and analytical skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. If you have a proven track record of success in energy trading and a passion for the energy industry, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor energy markets and identify trading opportunities.
  2. Utilize hedging strategies to maximize profits and minimize risk.
  3. Execute trades in energy commodities.
  4. Analyze financial data and performance metrics to optimize trading strategies.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  6. Maintain accurate records of trades and transactions.
  7. Monitor industry trends and regulations.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiencies.
  9. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new developments.
