Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and creative Energy Trader to join our team at Exelon. This individual will play a key role in our energy trading operations, helping to ensure we achieve our business objectives. The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep understanding of the energy market.The successful Energy Trader should have excellent financial and analytical skills, be able to develop trading strategies and execute transactions effectively, and have an in-depth knowledge of energy trading regulations and policies. A minimum of 5 years of experience in energy trading and a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or a related field are required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong communication skills are also essential. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute energy trading strategies to meet business objectives
  2. Analyze and interpret energy market trends and make informed trading decisions
  3. Monitor energy markets and take appropriate trading action
  4. Prepare trading reports and financial analysis for senior management
  5. Work with other teams to ensure compliance with energy trading regulations and policies
  6. Manage risk associated with energy trading
  7. Keep up to date with industry news and changes in the energy market
  8. Maintain accurate records of transactions and associated data
  9. Participate in departmental meetings to identify areas for improvement or new trading opportunities
  10. Work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and complete tasks
