The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of cyber security threats, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. They must have the necessary technical skills and be proactive in their approach to security. In addition to technical knowledge, the successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization and have a real impact on the security of our systems.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in cyber security and related technologies• Knowledge of current cyber security threats and countermeasures• Experience with security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001)• Professional certifications in cyber security (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.)• Hands-on experience with security solutions (e.g. firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus)• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills• Ability to work independently and manage concurrent projects
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze security threats and develop countermeasures to protect the organization’s data and systems
• Research and stay current on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and security frameworks
• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions (e.g. firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus)
• Monitor security systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
• Perform security risk assessments and audit activities
• Train and educate users on best practices for security
• Respond to security incidents and provide resolution recommendations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cyber security
