Cybersecurity Analyst

Exelon is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team and help ensure our systems and networks are secure across all areas of the business. As a critical member of the security operations team, you will play a key role in the protection of our data and assets.The ideal candidate for this position should have a degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a cybersecurity role, including experience with SIEM, log management, and security event monitoring. You should also have a strong understanding of network and application security, as well as a deep knowledge of security protocols and technologies.You must also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor systems and networks for security breaches, suspicious activity, and unauthorized access.
2. Establish and maintain security protocols and standards for the organization.
3. Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities and take preventive measures to protect the organization’s data and assets.
4. Analyze security logs, identify trends and anomalies, and provide recommendations for mitigating risks.
5. Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
6. Research and recommend security solutions to address identified risks.
7. Train and educate personnel on security procedures and protocols.
8. Work with IT teams to implement security solutions.
9. Stay up to date on the latest security technologies and industry trends.
10. Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports.
