  1. Develop and implement information governance policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of vulnerability within the organization's data and systems.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and controls to mitigate identified risks.
  4. Monitor and analyze data and systems to identify any security breaches or compliance violations.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices, and recommend changes to policies and procedures as needed.
  6. Act as a subject matter expert on information governance, risk management, and compliance for the organization.
  7. Train and educate employees on information governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance across the organization.
  8. Work with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during regulatory audits.
  9. Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders to provide updates on information governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
  10. Continuously assess and improve the organization's information governance, risk management, and compliance processes.
  11. Develop and maintain documentation related to information governance, risk management, and compliance activities.
  12. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that information security measures are in place and functioning effectively.
  13. Conduct periodic reviews and audits of information governance, risk management, and compliance processes to identify any areas for improvement.
  14. Participate in incident response and crisis management activities related to information security and compliance.
  15. Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts in the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Information Technology, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Information Governance, Risk Management, And Compliance.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Relevant Laws And Regulations Such As Gdpr, Ccpa, Hipaa, Etc.

  • Strong Understanding Of Information Security Principles And Best Practices.

  • Experience With Leading Information Governance Programs, Including Risk Assessments, Policy Development, And Compliance Monitoring.
