Manage and oversee complex GIS projects for federal public safety clients.

Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue new opportunities within the federal public safety sector.
Represent Esri as a thought leader and subject matter expert in the federal public safety sector through participation in conferences, events, and industry groups.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Project Management: A Sr. Gis Project Manager For Federal Public Safety At Esri Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Managing Complex Gis Projects, Preferably In The Federal Public Safety Sector. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Project Management Methodologies And Techniques, And A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.
Strong Technical Background In Gis: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Gis Technology And Its Applications In The Public Safety Sector. They Should Have A Degree In Gis Or A Related Field, And A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working With Gis Software, Including Esri's Arcgis Platform.
Knowledge Of Federal Public Safety Policies And Regulations: As The Sr. Gis Project Manager For Federal Public Safety, The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Policies And Regulations That Govern The Use Of Gis In The Federal Public Safety Sector. This Includes Knowledge Of Data Security, Privacy, And Compliance Requirements.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Lead A Team. They Should Be Able To Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Manage Relationships With Clients And Vendors.
Proven Experience In Business Development: The Sr. Gis Project Manager Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Identifying And Pursuing New Business Opportunities In The Federal Public Safety Sector. This Includes Developing Proposals, Conducting Presentations, And Building Relationships With Potential Clients. They Should Also Have Experience In Managing Client Accounts And Ensuring Customer Satisfaction.
