- Serve as the primary point of contact for national government agencies, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Provide strategic consulting services to clients, identifying their needs and offering customized solutions to help them achieve their goals.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience in GIS to provide technical expertise and guidance to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement GIS solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest GIS technology and trends, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the public sector.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand and address complex challenges faced by government agencies, utilizing GIS tools and data.
- Lead and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate clients on the benefits and capabilities of GIS.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services to clients.
- Act as a mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing your expertise and helping them develop their skills.
- Represent Esri and the GIS industry at conferences, events, and other networking opportunities to promote our services and build new partnerships.
Extensive Experience In Gis Technology: A Sr. Gis Consultant At Esri Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Gis Principles, Software, And Tools. They Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience Working With Esri's Products, Including Arcgis Pro, Arcgis Online, And Arcgis Enterprise.
Strong Project Management Skills: As A Senior Consultant, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Complex Gis Projects For National Government Clients. They Must Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Projects From Conception To Completion, Including Developing Project Plans, Managing Timelines, And Delivering Quality Results.
In-Depth Knowledge Of National Government Processes And Policies: This Role Requires A Thorough Understanding Of How National Governments Operate, Including Policies And Regulations Related To Gis Data, Infrastructure, And Operations. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With National Government Agencies And A Familiarity With Their Data Needs And Requirements.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Sr. Gis Consultant At Esri Will Be Working Closely With Clients, Team Members, And Other Stakeholders. They Must Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Present Technical Information, Listen To Client Needs, And Collaborate With Others To Solve Complex Problems.
Experience With Gis Consulting And Business Development: Esri's Sr. Gis Consultants Are Expected To Contribute To The Growth Of The Company By Identifying Business Opportunities And Providing Strategic Consulting Services To Clients. Therefore, Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successful Gis Consulting And Business Development Experience, Including Building And Maintaining Client Relationships.
