  1. Design and implement highly reliable and scalable real-time and big data systems for Esri's location intelligence platform.
  2. Collaborate with a team of engineers to continuously improve the performance and stability of our systems.
  3. Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, identifying and resolving root causes to prevent future occurrences.
  4. Develop and maintain tools and processes to automate tasks and enhance system reliability.
  5. Proactively identify and address potential system vulnerabilities and risks.
  6. Conduct regular performance and load testing to ensure system capacity and stability.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in real-time and big data technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation in our systems.
  8. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and data scientists, to ensure seamless integration and operation of real-time and big data systems.
  9. Document and maintain system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  10. Continuously improve and optimize system processes and workflows for maximum efficiency and reliability.
  11. Collaborate with other departments, such as product management and customer support, to gather feedback and implement improvements based on customer needs.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation to respond to system incidents and emergencies.
  13. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers in the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Site Reliability Engineer Role, With A Focus On Real-Time And Big Data Systems.

  • Strong Understanding Of Cloud Infrastructure And Experience Working With Services Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or Go, And Experience With Automation And Configuration Management Tools.

  • Experience With Monitoring And Troubleshooting Real-Time Systems, As Well As Implementing Disaster Recovery And High Availability Solutions.
