Job Description

  1. Lead and facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  2. Coach and mentor team members on Scrum principles and practices.
  3. Ensure the team is following the agreed upon Scrum process and removing any obstacles or impediments.
  4. Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
  5. Monitor and track team progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  6. Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement within the team.
  7. Identify and implement best practices for agile development and project management.
  8. Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  9. Maintain a positive and productive team dynamic.
  10. Act as a liaison between the development team and other departments within the organization.
  11. Facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution within the team.
  12. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in agile methodologies.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the Scrum process.
  14. Take ownership of project timelines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  15. Act as a role model for agile practices and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Scrum Master (Csm) Or Professional Scrum Master (Psm) Certification

  • Strong Understanding Of Agile Methodologies And Scrum Framework

  • Experience Facilitating Scrum Ceremonies And Guiding Teams Through The Scrum Process

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams

  • Knowledge Of Product Development And Project Management In A Software Development Environment, Preferably In The Gis Industry.
