Design and develop data solutions for the ArcGIS product line.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Utilize expertise in ArcGIS software and data engineering to drive the success of our products.
Ensure high-quality and efficient data solutions are implemented.
Conduct research and stay updated on the latest data engineering and ArcGIS advancements.
Analyze and troubleshoot data-related issues as they arise.
Work closely with product managers and other teams to identify and implement new features and improvements.
Create and maintain technical documentation for data solutions.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Proactively identify and suggest solutions for potential roadblocks or challenges.
Collaborate with the support team to address customer inquiries and issues related to data.
Continuously improve and optimize data processes and workflows.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data engineering and ArcGIS.
Mentor and train junior team members on data engineering and ArcGIS concepts and best practices.
Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality data solutions within designated timeframes.

Job Qualifications

In-Depth Knowledge Of Arcgis Software: A Product Engineer - Arcgis Data Engineer At Esri Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Arcgis Software And Its Various Components, Including Arcgis Online, Arcgis Pro, And Arcgis Enterprise.
Experience In Data Management And Analysis: This Role Requires A Strong Background In Working With Geospatial Data, Including Data Collection, Storage, Manipulation, And Analysis. Familiarity With Sql, Python, And Other Programming Languages Is Also Essential.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: As A Product Engineer, You Will Be Tasked With Identifying And Resolving Complex Technical Issues Related To Arcgis Data. This Requires Excellent Problem-Solving Abilities And The Ability To Think Critically And Creatively.
Excellent Communication Skills: A Product Engineer Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. This Includes Writing Technical Documentation, Presenting Findings, And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Gis, Computer Science, Or A Related Field: Most Product Engineer Positions At Esri Require A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Gis, Computer Science, Or A Related Field. Some Positions May Also Require A Master's Degree Or Equivalent Work Experience.
