  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of GIS solutions.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  9. Maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are being met and identify opportunities for further collaboration.
  10. Support business development efforts by identifying potential clients and demonstrating the value of GIS solutions in the gas and electric industry.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Gis Software: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Esri's Arcgis Software Suite, Including Arcgis Online And Arcgis Pro. They Should Also Be Proficient In Using Geospatial Tools And Extensions Specific To The Gas And Electric Utility Industry.

  • Industry Experience: A Strong Background In The Gas And Electric Utility Industry Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience Working With Utility Data, Such As Pipeline Networks, Transmission Lines, And Distribution Systems. Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations Is Also Important.

  • Technical Expertise: The Gis Technical Consultant Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Database Management, Data Analysis, And Cartography. They Should Also Be Able To Troubleshoot Technical Issues And Provide Solutions To Complex Problems.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Consultant, The Candidate Will Be Working With A Variety Of Stakeholders, Including Gas And Electric Utility Clients, Project Managers, And Other Team Members. Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Crucial For Effectively Communicating Technical Information And Building Relationships With Clients.

  • Project Management Experience: The Gis Technical Consultant Will Be Responsible For Managing And Delivering Projects To Meet Client Needs. They Should Have Experience In Project Management Methodologies And Be Able To Effectively Manage Timelines, Budgets, And Resources. Experience With Esri's Project Management Tools, Such As Arcgis Pro Tasks, Is A Plus.
