As the GIS Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, launch, and continued success of our aviation products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS technology, as well as a deep understanding of the aviation industry.   1. Lead the development and launch of Esri's Aviation product line, ensuring that it meets the needs and demands of the industry and aligns with the company's overall strategy.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the aviation industry, and use this information to inform product development and strategy.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure the successful execution of product initiatives.
  4. Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including defining product requirements, setting timelines and milestones, and overseeing the development process.
  5. Work closely with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, and use this information to continually improve and enhance the product.
  6. Monitor and analyze product performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to increase product adoption and revenue.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry and technology trends, and use this knowledge to inform product roadmap and strategy.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts.
  9. Train and educate internal teams on the features and capabilities of the Aviation product line, and provide support and guidance as needed.
  10. Represent Esri and the Aviation product line at industry events and conferences, and act as a subject matter expert for media and press inquiries.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and provide guidance on best practices for utilizing the product in accordance with industry guidelines.
  12. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Aviation product line, and proactively identify opportunities for new product development.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Gis Software: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Using Gis Software, Particularly In The Aviation Industry. This Includes Experience With Esri Products Such As Arcgis Pro, Arcgis Online, And Arcgis Aviation.

  • Understanding Of Aviation Industry: A Gis Product Manager At Esri Must Have A Deep Understanding Of The Aviation Industry And Its Specific Needs And Challenges. This Includes Knowledge Of Aeronautical Data Standards, Regulations, And Best Practices.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Product Manager, The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Delivering Complex Gis Projects Within The Aviation Industry. This Includes Managing Timelines, Budgets, And Resources Effectively.

  • Communication And Collaboration: The Role Requires Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work With Cross-Functional Teams, Customers, And Partners. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Articulate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
