We are currently seeking an experienced Event Technician to join our dynamic Events team. As an Event Technician, you will play a crucial role in the success of our events by providing technical support and ensuring that all audiovisual and technical aspects run smoothly. Set up and operate audiovisual equipment, including projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems, for events.
Collaborate with event coordinators to understand the technical requirements and specifications for each event.
Conduct equipment and venue inspections to ensure that all technical needs are met and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Provide technical support during events, including troubleshooting sound and video quality, connectivity, and other technical issues.
Coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely delivery and setup of equipment, as needed.
Develop and maintain event technology inventory, including equipment, cables, and other necessary supplies.
Create and maintain detailed event technology plans and diagrams for each event.
Train and supervise temporary event staff on the setup and operation of audiovisual equipment.
Stay up-to-date with the latest event technology trends and make recommendations for incorporating new technology into events.
Communicate with venue staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth transitions between different event activities.
Work closely with the Events team to ensure that all event technology needs are met within budget and according to the event timeline.
Ensure that all audiovisual equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and stored after each event.
Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any technical issues and ensuring that all technology runs smoothly during events.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while setting up and operating audiovisual equipment.
Collaborate with the Events team to identify areas for improvement and implement new processes to enhance event technology operations.

Technical Expertise: A Strong Background In Audiovisual Technology, Lighting Design, And Video Production Is Essential For An Event Technician At Esri. This Includes Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Audiovisual Equipment, Troubleshooting Technical Issues, And Creating Engaging And Visually Appealing Presentations.

Therefore, Candidates For This Position Should Be Adaptable And Willing To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
