Job Description

In this role, with your strong experience and background using drones in different industries, you will need to fully understand the needs of users in multiple industries and then translate them into capabilities already provided or clarify these requirements for further developments. This should extend to working with different modalities from color imagery, thermal, radar, and lidar as well as scales from inspection imagery to city scale coverages. Be a part of managing the strategic planning and tactical activities for the use of drone imagery. Specify market requirements for current and future drone processing products by conducting research supported by ongoing interaction with customers and non-customers. Work closely with development/engineering professionals to make sure market requirements are met. Evaluate partner and sales channel opportunities. Continue to evaluate and evolve business models to help drive adoption and usage.

Job Qualifications

2+ years of practical experience in the geospatial field, focused on use of drone imagery
Demonstratable experience writing well-crafted user stories and/or use cases
Experience working with UX/UI professionals on user-centered designs and usability
Experience flying and processing drone imagery in more than one industry
Demonstratable projects implementing drone workflows in a commercial setting a plus
