- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the geospatial market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research to stay current on industry trends and identify potential growth areas.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement effective strategies for business development.
- Utilize sales techniques to effectively pitch and close deals with potential clients.
- Actively reach out to potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, email, and social media.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Esri's products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, progress, and forecasts.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Collaborate with other teams within the company, such as marketing and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
- Stay up-to-date on competitors and market trends to inform business development strategies.
- Maintain a positive and professional image of Esri while representing the company to potential and existing clients.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for personal and professional growth within the company.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.
Strong Understanding Of The Gis Industry And Esri's Products And Services.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Business Development, Sales, Or Marketing, Preferably In The Technology Industry.
Demonstrated Ability To Generate And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Including Potential Clients, Partners, And Industry Influencers.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Technical Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Audiences.
