Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team and focus on the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industries. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with our AEC clients, understanding their business needs, and providing them with innovative GIS solutions to help them achieve their goals. We are looking for a driven individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for technology, and a proven track record in sales.   1. Develop and maintain relationships with AEC clients to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for GIS solutions.
  2. Meet and exceed sales targets by actively promoting Esri's GIS technology and software to AEC clients.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies for the AEC industry.
  5. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Esri's GIS solutions to potential clients.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to better understand the needs of AEC clients and identify new business opportunities.
  7. Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and events to generate leads and promote Esri's GIS solutions.
  8. Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing to potential clients.
  9. Continuously build and expand knowledge of Esri's products and services to effectively communicate their value to AEC clients.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new AEC clients.
  11. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, client relationships, and market trends to management.
  12. Represent Esri at industry events and conferences to network and promote our GIS solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In The Architecture, Engineering, And Construction (Aec) Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Aec Industry, Including Its Processes, Workflows, And Challenges. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Communicate With Clients And Understand Their Needs.

  • Proven Track Record In Sales And Account Management: The Account Manager Should Have A Successful Sales Track Record, Ideally In The Aec Industry. They Should Be Able To Develop And Maintain Long-Term Relationships With Clients, And Meet Or Exceed Sales Targets.

  • Knowledge Of Gis And Spatial Technology: Esri Is A Leading Provider Of Gis Software And Solutions, So The Account Manager Should Have A Good Understanding Of Gis And Spatial Technology. This Will Help Them To Effectively Communicate The Value Of Esri's Products To Clients And Identify Opportunities For Cross-Selling And Upselling.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Account Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Clients, As Well As Working Closely With Internal Teams. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field: While Not Always A Requirement, A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Business, Geography, Or Urban Planning, Can Be Beneficial For An Account Manager At Esri. It Demonstrates A Level Of Understanding And Knowledge In A Relevant Area And Can Help The Candidate To Better Understand The Needs Of Clients In The Aec Industry.

Compensation

According to JobzMall, the average salary range for a Account Manager - AEC in Chicago, IL, USA is $60,000 - $90,000 per year.
