- Develop and implement strategies for ensuring accessibility in Esri's software and applications.
- Conduct regular accessibility audits and usability testing to identify and address any accessibility barriers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate accessibility considerations into all stages of product development.
- Stay up-to-date on current accessibility standards and guidelines and ensure compliance in all products.
- Educate and train team members on accessibility best practices and guidelines.
- Advocate for accessibility within the company and promote a culture of inclusivity.
- Lead the development of accessibility features and enhancements for our products.
- Work closely with user experience designers to ensure an accessible and user-friendly design.
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions for accessibility issues reported by users.
- Collaborate with external organizations and accessibility experts to continuously improve our products' accessibility.
- Conduct research and stay informed on emerging technologies and techniques for accessibility.
- Document and communicate accessibility processes and procedures to internal teams.
- Participate in conferences and events to share knowledge and insights on accessibility.
- Continuously assess and improve our accessibility processes and procedures.
- Act as a subject matter expert on accessibility for the company.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Proficient Knowledge And Experience With Accessibility Guidelines And Standards Such As Wcag, Section 508, And Ada.
Strong Understanding Of Assistive Technologies And Their Integration With Web And Mobile Applications.
Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Accessibility Strategies For Large-Scale Software Products.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Provide Guidance On Accessibility Best Practices.
