- Develop and maintain a comprehensive vulnerability management program for the organization.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize potential security vulnerabilities in the organization's systems and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and assessments to identify any potential threats or weaknesses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities and provide insights and recommendations to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to stay informed about emerging security trends and solutions.
- Monitor and report on the organization's vulnerability management program, including progress, risks, and challenges.
- Lead and mentor a team of vulnerability management professionals to ensure the effective execution of the program.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards related to vulnerability management.
- Conduct regular training and awareness sessions to educate employees on best practices for identifying and reporting potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the audit and compliance teams to ensure the organization's vulnerability management program meets regulatory requirements.
- Participate in incident response activities related to potential security breaches or incidents.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's vulnerability management program to align with industry standards and best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert on vulnerability management for the organization and provide guidance and support to other teams as needed.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, to provide updates on the vulnerability management program and address any concerns or questions.
Knowledge Of Vulnerability Management Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Vulnerability Management Processes, Including Vulnerability Scanning, Assessment, Remediation, And Reporting.
Experience With Industry Standards And Regulations: A Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Such As Iso, Nist, And Gdpr Is Necessary For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience In Implementing And Maintaining Compliance With These Standards.
Technical Expertise: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Technical Understanding Of Network And System Vulnerabilities, As Well As Experience With Vulnerability Scanning Tools And Software. Knowledge Of Scripting Languages And Automation Tools Is Also Desirable.
Project Management Skills: As A Vulnerability Management Service Owner, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Overseeing And Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously. Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Plan, Organize, And Prioritize Tasks, Are Essential For This Role.
