- Conduct thorough research and analysis of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations related to the real estate industry.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their tax needs.
- Prepare and review tax returns, tax provisions, and other tax-related documents for real estate clients.
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize opportunities for tax savings.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in tax laws to ensure accurate and timely advice to clients.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients.
- Communicate complex tax concepts and strategies to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, assisting in their professional development.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple client engagements.
- Attend and participate in client meetings and presentations, representing the firm in a professional manner.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for business development and growth within the real estate tax practice.
- Uphold the firm's values and ethical standards at all times while maintaining client confidentiality.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures within the real estate tax practice.
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive services to clients.
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude, demonstrating a strong commitment to client service and teamwork.
Cpa Or Other Relevant Certification
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field
3-5 Years Of Experience In State And Local Tax, Preferably In Real Estate
Strong Understanding Of State And Local Tax Laws And Regulations
Demonstrated Ability To Manage And Lead Teams, As Well As Excellent Communication And Client Management Skills.
