  1. Conduct thorough research and analysis of state and local income tax laws and regulations to accurately advise clients on their tax obligations and assist with compliance.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and responding promptly to their needs and inquiries.
  3. Prepare and review complex tax returns and calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Proactively identify tax planning opportunities for clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits.
  5. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate any updates or implications to clients and team members.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to efficiently and effectively complete tax projects and meet deadlines.
  7. Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  8. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on their tax status and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  9. Conduct thorough reviews of client financial information to identify potential tax issues or areas for improvement.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation, ensuring all necessary information is readily accessible.
  11. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in tax laws and regulations.
  12. Demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all interactions with clients and team members.
  13. Collaborate with other departments within EY to provide integrated and comprehensive services to clients.
  14. Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development, both within EY and through external resources.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Income Tax Laws And Regulations
