Extensive Experience In Government Contracting: The Ideal Candidate Must Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Government Contracting, With A Proven Track Record Of Managing Complex Contracts And Compliance Requirements.
Strong Knowledge Of Government Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Government Regulations Related To Contracts, Such As Far, Dfars, And Cas. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In Gsa Schedules, Cost Accounting Standards, And Other Relevant Regulations.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously. Therefore, They Should Have Strong Leadership, Communication, And Project Management Skills To Effectively Guide Their Team And Ensure Successful Project Delivery.
Financial And Analytical Skills: A Strong Background In Financial Management And Analysis Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Financial Data, Develop Accurate Cost Estimates, And Identify Potential Financial Risks And Opportunities For Government Contracts.
Professional Certification: A Professional Certification Such As Certified Federal Contracts Manager (Cfcm) Or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (Cpcm) Is Highly Desirable For This Role. These Certifications Demonstrate A Comprehensive Understanding Of Government Contracting Regulations And Best Practices.
