  1. Conduct financial audits: The Assurance Manager will be responsible for conducting financial audits of government entities and public sector organizations to ensure compliance with regulations and identify any potential risks or areas for improvement.
  2. Provide guidance: The Assurance Manager will provide guidance and advice to clients on financial systems and processes, helping them to strengthen their internal controls and improve efficiency.
  3. Manage client relationships: The Assurance Manager will act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure their satisfaction with our services.
  4. Lead and mentor team members: The Assurance Manager will lead a team of auditors and provide guidance and mentorship to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals.
  5. Stay updated on regulations: The Assurance Manager will stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure that audits are conducted in compliance with all requirements.
  6. Analyze data and prepare reports: The Assurance Manager will analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports on audit findings, providing recommendations for improvement to clients.
  7. Collaborate with other teams: The Assurance Manager will work closely with other teams within Ernst & Young, such as tax and advisory, to provide clients with comprehensive and integrated services.
  8. Attend client meetings: The Assurance Manager will attend client meetings and present audit findings and recommendations, communicating effectively with clients at all levels.
  9. Maintain quality standards: The Assurance Manager will ensure that all audits are conducted in accordance with quality and professional standards set by Ernst & Young and regulatory bodies.
  10. Drive business growth: The Assurance Manager will actively participate in business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and contributing to the growth of the Government and Public Sector practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Cpa Or Other Relevant Professional Certification.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • 5+ Years Of Experience In External Auditing, Preferably In The Government Or Public Sector.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Government Accounting Principles And Regulations.

  • Strong Understanding Of Risk Assessment And Internal Control Processes Specific To Government And Public Sector Organizations.
