- Conduct in-depth research on the intersection of sustainability and geopolitics, and stay updated on the latest global public policy developments.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of EY's clients and their industries, and how sustainability and geopolitics impact their business strategies and operations.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify and analyze key sustainability and geopolitical risks and opportunities for their businesses.
- Provide strategic advice and insights to clients on how to navigate and address sustainability and geopolitical challenges, while staying compliant with global public policy regulations.
- Lead or support the development and delivery of client presentations, reports, and other deliverables related to sustainability and geopolitics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored support and guidance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to sustainability and geopolitics, and share this knowledge with internal teams and clients.
- Act as a subject matter expert on sustainability and geopolitics, providing guidance and support to colleagues and clients as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies that promote sustainability and geopolitical awareness and action within EY and its clients.
- Represent EY in relevant sustainability and geopolitical forums, conferences, and events, and network with key stakeholders to enhance EY's brand and reputation in this space.
- Continuously evaluate and improve EY's sustainability and geopolitical services and offerings, and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Sustainability And Geopolitical Issues: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Global Sustainability And Geopolitical Issues, Including Climate Change, Resource Management, And Political Dynamics.
Experience In Public Policy And Government Relations: The Associate Director Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Public Policy Or Government Relations, Preferably In A Global Context. This Experience Should Include Working With Various Stakeholders, Such As Governments, Ngos, And Industry Associations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Information, Identify Key Issues And Trends, And Develop Strategic Solutions To Address Them. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Developing And Implementing Public Policy Initiatives.
Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: As A Representative Of Ey, The Associate Director Must Be A Strong Communicator And Have The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With A Wide Range Of Stakeholders. This Includes Collaborating With Internal Teams, Engaging With Clients, And Representing Ey At Public Events.
Business Acumen And Commercial Awareness: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Business Implications Of Sustainability And Geopolitical Issues.
