- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability and geopolitics global public policy strategy for EY, in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals to execute the sustainability and geopolitics global public policy strategy.
- Conduct research and analysis on global sustainability and geopolitical trends and issues, and provide insights and recommendations to the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and NGOs, to advance EY's policy priorities.
- Represent EY at relevant conferences, forums, and other events to promote the company's sustainability and geopolitical agenda.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders and subject matter experts, to identify and prioritize policy issues and opportunities.
- Monitor and track relevant legislation and regulations related to sustainability and geopolitics, and communicate potential impacts to the company.
- Develop and deliver effective communications and advocacy strategies to promote EY's sustainability and geopolitical policies and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging sustainability and geopolitical trends and issues, and provide thought leadership and guidance to the company.
- Serve as a key point of contact for external inquiries and requests related to EY's sustainability and geopolitical policies and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all policy-related activities.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within EY to integrate sustainability and geopolitical considerations into business strategies and practices.
- Act as a role model for EY's values and culture, promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the sustainability and geopolitical public policy function to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Regularly report on progress and impact of EY's sustainability and geopolitical policies and initiatives to senior leadership.
Strong Understanding Of Sustainability And Geopolitical Issues: The Associate Director Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Global Sustainability And Geopolitical Challenges, Including Climate Change, Resource Scarcity, Geopolitical Tensions, And Their Impact On Businesses.
Experience In Public Policy And Government Relations: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Working With Governments And Policymakers To Shape Public Policy In Areas Related To Sustainability And Geopolitics. This Could Include Experience In Lobbying, Advocacy, Or Regulatory Affairs.
Strong Analytical And Research Skills: A Successful Associate Director Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Data And Information From Various Sources To Develop Insights And Recommendations For Clients. This Requires Strong Research Skills And The Ability To Synthesize Information From Multiple Perspectives.
Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Engage With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Government Officials, Ngos, And Industry Representatives.
