Telemetry Monitor Technician

Ernest Health is seeking an experienced Telemetry Monitor Technician to join our team and provide expert patient care. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment.
2. Identify and report any heart rhythm abnormalities or changes in patient condition to appropriate medical staff.
3. Provide patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and quality standards.
4. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
5. Assist in training and educating new staff members on the use of telemetry equipment.
6. Perform clerical duties as needed, including document preparation and updating patient charts.
7. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
8. Remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
9. Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to patient needs and changes in routines.
10. Participate in continuing education activities to maintain current knowledge and skills.
