Telemetry Monitor Technician

Ernest Health is looking for a talented and dedicated Telemetry Monitor Technician to join our team! As a Telemetry Monitor Technician, you'll be responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms and other vital signs to ensure the well-being of our patients. We are looking for someone who is reliable and has a passion for providing excellent patient care.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of one year experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Additionally, you should possess strong communication and organizational skills and be able to work collaboratively with other medical staff. The ideal candidate should also possess an Associate’s degree in Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, or a related field and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor cardiac rhythms and other vital signs to ensure the well-being of patients in a hospital or healthcare setting.
2. Maintain accurate records of patient data and monitor reports.
3. Communicate effectively with other medical staff to ensure patient safety and optimal care.
4. Provide ongoing patient education about cardiac rhythm and other health topics.
5. Respond quickly and appropriately to any changes in patient cardiac rhythm or other vital signs.
6. Utilize specialized medical equipment to accurately monitor and assess patient data.
7. Assist with patient care and treatments as needed.
8. Ensure that all medical equipment is properly maintained and working correctly.
9. Follow established protocols and guidelines for monitoring and responding to changes in patient data.
10. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
