Job Description

Ernest Health is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN PRN) who can provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal candidate should have a passion for nursing and be a team player. We seek a Registered Nurse with experience in a hospital setting, a strong clinical background, and excellent communication skills. If you have the qualifications we seek and you’re looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our team, we'd love to hear from you!Required Qualifications:• Current Registered Nurse license from the state in which practice is conducted• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care• Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
  2. Monitor and assess patient conditions and document observations in medical records.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  4. Educate patients and families on disease management and health promotion.
  5. Communicate with members of the healthcare team to ensure the best care possible.
  6. Maintain compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
  7. Assist with patient transfer, positioning, and ambulation.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  9. Provide emotional support to patients and families.
  10. Maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment.
